Okay, I'll level with you guys - owning a business all on your lonesome is no walk in the park. I'm not gonna pretend I've got everything totally under control, because I don't. Honestly, I haven't even hired any extra help because I'm just too much of a control freak to trust anyone else with my business. So yeah, I'm kinda doing everything a bit imperfectly. But hey, that's just how it is! And because of that, I'm sharing a blog post for the first time in a LONG time, since completely gutting my old blog and website - yep, editing galleries always takes priority over everything else, so my website and social media feeds might be a bit neglected at times.
Anyway, enough with the excuses - let me introduce you to one of my newest little families! They're not native to Knoxville, because they are a family that is quite literally moved by life and all it's wonderful (and not always so wonderful) twists and turns. After a pandemic, gloomy weather, and a huge influx of studio sessions, I needed an outdoor session during golden hour for a bit of a pick-me-up - and I figured y'all might too! I am especially fond of how this session turned out--the lighting was *chef's kiss*, the color scheme was lovely, the kiddos were a joy to work with, Mom & Dad were flexible with the boys' fluctuating moods. It was simply a wonderful session.
